Expert Training on a Complete Variety of Heavy Equipment
Skid-Steer
The skid-steer is a very unique machine. It is capable of 360° (zero-radius) turning, which makes it extremely maneuverable and indispensable on compact job sites.
Backhoe
Though it is one of the smallest machines on any large construction site, the backhoe is by far the most versatile machine in the heavy equipment industry.
Excavator
Need to dig a 16 foot hole or do some deep trenching? There’s no better machine than an excavator. They’re often used in the heavy construction business for drainage and conduit projects.
Front End Loader
Here on Long Island where snow removal, hurricane clean-up and beach erosion require sand or debris movement, the front end loader can be an indispensable machine.
Bulldozer
Though it looks simple, the bulldozer is one of the more difficult machines to master. Extremely powerful and nimble, it easily clears and levels land with its 6 way tilting blade.
...And More!
We can tailor a program for any machine or type of equipment. We can create a private or custom course package to meet your specific needs. Reach out and inquire about getting started.
Please watch the testimonial videos below from our recently graduated students: Brandon, Yolanda, & Shelly Anne.
Brandon graduated from The LEARN Center less than a year ago. We helped fight for his vocational rehabilitation as a heavy equipment operator, as some doubted he could operate heavy equipment with a prosthetic leg. Brandon completed all necessary training with no restriction and already has a great new job in the industry.
Yolanda continued her training after graduating from The LEARN Center and passed her test to become a heavy equipment operator for the Department of Transportation. Yolanda is now the first woman heavy equipment operator for the DOT! Congrats Yolanda!
Shelly Anne also continued her training after graduating from The LEARN Center. She is certified on the backhoe and found a job as an excavator. We worked with Shelly Anne to provide all the resources and training she needed to be successful on the Excavator. Shelly Anne got the job and is doing well!
