Introduction to Front End Loader
Introduction to Front End Loader
When a lot of material needs to be moved or loaded onto a dump truck, the front end loader is the machine of choice. Especially on Long Island where snow removal, hurricane clean-up and beach erosion require sand or debris movement, the front end loader can be indispensable.
Students will be introduced to the front end loader, its capabilities and maintenance requirements (fuel, oils, filters, etc.) including the greasing of the pivot points of the machine. Students will maneuver the machine around the yard and use the front bucket. This portion of the course will focus on the proficiency needed in the use of the machine through repetitive motions and the movement of various materials.
