Bulldozer Module 2
(Prerequisite: Introduction to Bulldozer)
Introduction to Bulldozer
Students will be re-introduced to the bulldozer and quizzed on the knowledge learned in the introductory course. Basic safety and maintenance will be reinforced. This course will focus on solo operation and more repetitive techniques taught.
The importance of materials will be conveyed in regards to the construction industry in addition to safety. More advanced maneuvering techniques and operations will be introduced in accordance with the individual student’s ability. One on one training will resume ensuring proper safety methods and learning effectiveness. Students will also learn how to safely rig a bulldozer to a trailer for transport.
The Bulldozer 2 module has a 3 day (21 hour) duration made up of the following classes:
- SS2 Rigging for Machine and Material Transport for Bulldozer 4 hours Comprehensive
- DZ4 Bulldozer Instruction 14 hours Practical
- DZ5 Bulldozer Solo Operation 3 hours Practical
